The five Nucor Alabama locations, though very different in application, have teamed up to raise money for Children’s Hospital of Alabama. Our efforts have raised more than $500,000 since the inaugural Nucor Alabama Children’s Charity Classic tournament in 2007. Hundreds of golfers and donors representing many of our vendors and customers have turned out from around the nation to show their support for Children’s Hospital. Nucor employees from our five divisions also participate in this special event – testament to our ongoing commitment to ‘giving back’ to the communities we value.

The five division’s are Nucor Decatur (sheet mill), Nucor Birmingham (bar mill), Nucor Tuscaloosa (plate and sheet mill), Vulcraft in Ft. Payne, and American Building Systems in Eufaula.
