Children's Hospital 
“Every now and then, we encounter treasures. Even though they are right in front of our eyes, we don’t’ see them for what they are, or truly appreciate how valuable they are to our community, state and nation. Children’s Hospital of Alabama is one such treasure. Over the last century, Children’s Hospital has grown from a community hospital into a comprehensive children’s health care system that provides the highest quality of care, which our children deserve, regardless of ability to pay. Children’s now includes a 275-bed facility that care for medical and surgical cases from newborn typically through 19 years of age, and includes primary care physicians, specialists, educators, chaplains and child advocates. In 2008, we set the state for what will surely be one of the most remarkable periods in our history. Children’s approved dramatic plans for the largest expansion in our history, and one the largest single healthcare projects in Alabama’s history.
Our community partners and corporate supporters are keys to our success each day at Children’s Hospital.
